Paris Saint Germain have joined the race to sign Arsenal target and Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.
The young striker is drawing plaudits from all corners of the footballing world for his superb performances for Monaco this season.
He’s become a key player for his club despite his tender age, scoring crucial goals for them as they continue their march towards the French league title.
Big clubs have been linked with the striker in recent weeks and Arsenal have been one of them. Arsene Wenger has even had to answer several questions about the youngster and on one occasion, he confirmed we are keeping tabs on the lad.
However, any attempt to sign the striker will not be an easy one as PSG have now joined the race for his signature.
According to Le Parisien via The Metro, the French giants are prepared to pay up to £75m to take the striker to Paris.
The fee would eclipse both club’s record transfer fees and dwarf the huge fee Manchester United paid for Anthony Martial in 2015.
Obviously, Arsenal won’t be able to March the figure PSG are willing to pay and that will blow us out of the race to sign the striker.
Well, £75m is a huge fee to pay for an 18 year old but it just goes on to show how highly rated the young man is.
