Spanish tactician and current Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola is reportedly interested in becoming the next boss at the Emirates, according to reports.
Spanish Journalist claims that the highly sort after coach is interested in joining Arsenal at some point.
Guardiola started his coaching career with Barcelona B team before being given the responsibility to take charge of the senior team where he went on to guard the club to one of their most successful spells in recent times; winning every title that was available in club football including the La Liga title, Copa Del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Champions league, UEFA Super cup, World Club Cup etc.
He is in his last season as coach of German side Bayern Munich as he is said to be fancying a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City and Chelsea reportedly keen on securing his signature in the summer.
Guardiola would have been a perfect fit at the Emirates as his coaching style rhyme with that of the Gunners; sleek passing moves and possession retention is the hallmark of Guardiola’s teams and that is what Arsenal are known for in England.
Unfortunately the chance to coach at Arsenal may have come too soon as Arsene Wenger isn’t quiet ready yet to vacate the hot seat at the Emirates, leaving the coast clear for both Manchester City and Chelsea to slug it out for his signature in the summer.
