Arsene Wenger and his men resume FA Cup duties today when his side travel to the KC Stadium to take on Steve Bruce’s Hull City side tonight.
After a disappointing stalemate at the Emirates Stadium a fortnight ago, Arsenal will be looking to move pass the FA Cup Fifth Round stages tonight in a must win match against the Tigers.
Although the previous clash at the Emirates Stadium ended in a stalemate, one Arsenal star who put in a very impressive performance against the Tigers a fortnight ago has been tipped by the boss to be involved in the replay tonight.
Alex Iwobi replaced Mesut Ozil in the number 10 role for the initial clash as the boss chose to rest the German ahead of upcoming crucial matches; and the youngster impressed the home crowd with his man of the match performance and contribution to the team despite the game ending in a stalemate.
And now Wenger has personally confirmed that Iwobi will definitely be involved in tonight’s clash, leading to speculations that the youngster will in-fact be in the Wenger’s starting eleven tonight rather than from the bench.
“I have to see how everybody has recovered today but overall we should have the same squad that went to Tottenham plus Alex Iwobi will certainly be added to the squad.” Wenger said.
Iwobi has shown signs of greatness which is why the boss has refused to sell him nor send him out on loan and it is only a matter of time before he fully breaks into the Arsenal first team.
