Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Leicester City midfielder, Riyad Mahrez who has been in superb form for the Foxes this season.
Mahrez has been a revelation this season, scoring 10 goals and 7 assists in 19 Premier League appearances for Claudio Ranieri’s men. His performances this season so far has seen him being compared to the young Lionel Messi by Jamie Carragher according to Daily Mail.
Le Buteur, a French website covering Algerian Football have reported that four top Premier League clubs sent scouts to watch Leicester Riyad Mahrez on Monday night against Manchester City Mahrez had a decent game in his all round contribution.
Thr report yet again confirmed that the scouts from Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool were on the stands at the king power stadium taking a good look at the 24 year old midfielder.
Claudio Ranieri has reportedly said that neither Mahrez nor his fellow teammate Jamie Vardy will leave Leicester this January. Also, Mahrez have declined any information linking him to the departure from Leicester insisting that he’s happy at Leicester. However Leicester may find it difficult to hold on to their players, according to Le Buteur.
