“That doesn’t mean that I have to or would like to go there – I’m extremely happy here and everything suits me down to the ground – but you do have to take a look around and talk with the club.

“Gladbach have given me everything I wanted and this has become a second home for me.”

“My task is to focus on my football. For as long as I am here, I want to give 100%, the rest will be done by my club and my agent.

“It really isn’t the case that I desperately want to leave. Everything would really have to come together 1/8 for that to happen 3/8.”

Wenger is reportedly prepared to offer as much as £37m for the 23 year old signature and when asked to talk about his transfer fee, Xhaka said:

Wengerhas no right to sign any player for the future till he proves his worth to arsenal by the end of this season . Till now we do not know whether Arsenal will end up the champions or will oe end up out of the top four. Wenger will either have his contract extended or terminated and nothing in between.
