1st Jan Signing? Club Now WILLING To Sell, Arsenal READY To Splash The Cash.

Alexis Sanchez has proven to us what influence a World Class player could have in a team and he could get a helper in January with reports according to Express that PSG are willing to accept an offer for star striker Edinson Cavani.

The 27-year old Uruguayan hitman has not been able to wield his predatory prowess to full throttle in the Ligue 1 and the general struggles of the Parisiens this season has added more fuel to rumours of apparent differences between Laurent Blanc and some of his players, having recently criticized his strikers for not scoring enough goals.

Wenger is a public admirer of the former Napoli man’s strengths and believes he’s been wasting away in France. £50m would prove a very huge fee to pay for a manger who has earned a reputation of being frugal. Having splashed over £70m on Ozil and Alexis over the past year, it will be a huge temptation to Le Prof to bang it hard for the powerful striker, especially considering he has plenty of unhappy attackers in his ranks at the moment.

Cavani arrived PSG from Napoli for a huge transfer fee, and was instantly expected to replicate the astonishing form which saw him checked on the list of the most dangerous forwards on the planet, at the time even more revered than fellow countryman Luis Suarez. He was supposed to be the partner to Ibrahimovich, two of whom will wreck quakes of cataclysmic proportions against all classes of opponents. But while Zlatan has continued to flourish, Cavani has failed to perform under the system which sees him drifted to another position with a more subdued portfolio.

With the striker continually unsettled, Arsenal would surely afford him a way out, though he may have to battle it out with in-form Olivier Giroud. You’d want to believe a competition with Danny Welbeck and even Giroud will suit Cavani more than one with the immovable Ibrahimovich. Liverpool and City are also believed to be interested in signing the 27 year old, but having advised Suarez to leave Liverpool last year, it goes against correlation to think he will now go there himself. City, then, should be our great competition in landing the Matador.

The signing of Cavani would put some kind of definitive seal of a complete World Class set-up going forward and will be as good as any to be found in most European teams. This fact is also evinced by Manchester’s United reported interest in the striker, as they seek supplements to the aging van Persie and on-loan Radamel Falcao.

It remains to be seen if Wenger would indeed splash as much as is been speculated.

i hope if wanger is willing to spend that much for Cavavi that he wont sign a CB and Holding mid-fielder. These areas are more needy in my opinion.
