Everton have joined the race to sign Arsenal target Ademola Lookman, according to reports.
Lookman has been impressive since making his first team debut for Charlton Athletic last November and top Premier League clubs, including Arsenal have watched the player on more than one occasions.
It is believed the Premier League giants have been impressed with his performances and could make a move for the striker in the future.
Arsenal and Crystal Palace were linked with a move for the young striker in the last transfer window but Charlton fought hard to keep hold of their prized asset by raising their asking price to £10m.
Lookman has continued to impress for the Addicks, scoring twice in their 3-1 FA cup win over Scunthorpe on Saturday and Everton are now the latest club to have joined the race to sign the striker.
According to the Daily Mirror via the Daily Star, Everton are currently weighing up a January bid for Lookman.
It seems we are still interested in Lookman and will have to rival the Merseyside club for his signature as our scouts were apparently present to watch the striker last weekend.
Lookman has scored eight league goals for Charlton in the space of one year and at 19 years of age, he looks destined to become a big player. However, whether that will be at Arsenal is something we will have to wait to find out.
