Juventus, Napoli and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in signing Wojciech Szczesny, according to reports.
The Poland shot stopper is currently on loan at AS Roma where he has impressed with his performances, helping the Giallorossi to second on the Serie A table.
His form has now attracted a host of clubs within and outside Italy. According to Corriere Dello Sport via thehardtackle.com, Szczesny is attracting interests from Serie A duo Juventus and Napoli as well as Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
The three clubs are set to battle for the goalkeeper’s signature and will be hoping to convince Arsenal to part with him permanently after two temporary spells away from the Emirates.
The Gunners have been linked with goalkeepers in recent weeks with reports claiming Wenger is on the lookout for a successor to Petr Cech but it is not yet known what the club plans to do with Szczesny.
Szczesny has proven in his time at Rome that he can be an heir to Cech but It is unlikely the shot stopper will return to the Emirates to sit on the bench. Even though reports are linking us with a new goalkeeper, I do think Cech will still very much be around next season, hence making a possible return for Szczesny complicated.
Szczesny has kept 11 clean sheets and conceded just 22 league goals this season, which can justify the amount of interests in his services.
Should Arsenal decide to sell, we must demand a huge fee for his services because we may have to spend big to bring in a new goalkeeper as it is very difficult to find top quality goalies nowadays.
