With personal terms and a transfer fee already agreed between all parties, the deal is 99% done and could be officially announced later on today.

The Serie A champions confirmed the Polish shot-stopper had arrived in Italy earlier this morning as a deal in the region of £12million had been struck between both clubs.

Juventus already have Gianluigi Buffon in goal and Szczesny is expected to act as the Italian No1’s backup next season. Buffon has already said that he is carrying on to play in the World Cup next summer, should Italy qualify, and there are no guarantees the 39-year-old will quit next summer either.
