Lucas Perez agent  Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has ruled out the possibility of his client moving to Fenerbahce this summer.

The Turkish giants are interested in signing Perez and reports are claiming they will send a club official to London in the coming days to hold talks with Arsenal over a loan transfer for the striker.

But Perez agent has ruled out the possibility of the striker joining Fener on loan, stating that Arsenal would prefer to sell the striker.

“Yes it’s true that Fenerbahçe have been showing an interest for almost two months. But I can say this transfer is looking unlikely at the moment because Arsenal wants to sell him permanently, but Fenerbahçe are hoping to strike a loan deal.”

Speaking with the Turkish media about the possibility of the striker moving to Fenerbahce, Fernandez added:

“I can’t say anything about this because Arsenal don’t want us to talk about these kind of things.”

The agent also said Arsenal are looking to recoup a large part of the £17m we paid for him this summer and will ask for a fee around £13m for the striker.

Real Betis, Deportivo La Coruna and Fenerbahce are the only clubs that have been linked with the striker and neither of them would be able to pay what Arsenal are demanding. We will then have to consider a loan move if nothing materializes anytime soon.
