Arsenal target Nabil Fekir has hint at a possible move to the Emirates in the future, via Sport witness.
The Lyon playmaker has been linked with a move to the Emirates in the last couple of years due to his impressive performances for the French club.
Manchester City are now monitoring the striker and the Etihad side have been tipped to battle Arsenal for the players signature.
Wenger who is known for moving some of France best talents to England has been on the trail of Fekir for quite sometime and the Gunners interest is well documented that his father Mohamed Fekir revealed he would love his son to move to the Emirates instead of the Etihad.
Mohamed Fekir said: “Nabil would like to finish 1st or 2nd and play Champions League football with Lyon. If he leaves, it’ll be for Arsenal. It’s the only club that can enable him to progress, with Arsene Wenger. He will not go to Manchester City to sit on the bench.”
With the summer transfer window drawing near, speculations regarding the midfielder’s future is strong again and the player himself confirmed via L’Equipe that he could make the switch to England in the summer but also reiterated that he is in no hurry to decide his future.
” I especially like Spain. I am also attentive to England.”
He added: “We will soon study the situation in the off season… My future lies in the next two months, both through my performance, but also a qualification of Lyon in the Champions League. All that will count.”
