Agent Of Former Arsenal Midfield Target Reveals Player’s Keen Interest In EPL MOve.

The well acclaimed defensive midfield warrior-to-be, Yann M’Vila, who has not quite become so, is in the news with his agent claiming the player now wants to play in the Premier League.

M’Vila’s loan deal at Inter has been terminated after failing to play as much or as well as to get him into the regular dealings of the first team and with Roberto Mancini carrying out a revamp of the team, the young Frenchman is seeking for new opportunities to resurrect a once promising career gradually drifting into twilight while it is yet dawn.

According to Fabrizio Ferrari, the 24-year old’s agent, there are clubs in Italy willing to speak to him but the only place appealing to him now is the Premier League.

“There hasn’t been an official request, even though Inter and Torino talked about it when the lad was still with the Nerazzurri” per the Express.

“I think Torino would be a fantastic destination, but he’s got the Premier League in his mind now and I don’t know if Torino are still interested”

It had looked dead certain that M’Vila would be an Arsenal player by the summer of 2012, as he was very much the Golden boy of French football while at Rennes at the time.

A poor Euro 2012 campaign with Les Blues may have influenced a decline in the rumours just before the 2012/2013 season kicked-off but there was little sense in his move to Rubin Kazan when he infact had the world at his feet, with the Arsenal move very much a possibility.

He wants to save his career now, and with neither Rubin nor Inter wanting him, the Premier League finally comes to mind. Arsene Wenger has already got himself a 17-year old defensive midfielder for the future to add to the three in the squad at the moment. Even if he did want to pull a deadline day surprise, the odds must be incredibly high against.

Perhaps Steve Bruce or Toni Pulis may be interested in signing him as the teams in the bottom half look the only sides that may have need of a player of his current class now. But then, his agent could just be employing the lure of the Premier League to know the real intentions of Torino as that would still seem to be his best bet.

It would have been perfect if it happened in 2012, given that Alex Song eventually left that season, but no one at Arsenal is thinking about taking a player who has failed at Inter Milan now. Most of the attention are towards some guy who is threatening to lead Southampton into the Champions League.
