Deportivo La Coruna have made an £11m bid for Lucas Perez, according to reports.

Perez is expected to leave the Emirates this summer, after making just nine appearance in all competitions last term.

Wenger strengthened the squad with Alexandre Lacazette before the start of the campaign and now wants to sell Perez who is no longer in his plans.

Arsenal are determined to get majority of the £17m they paid for Perez last summer and have placed a £13.4m price tag on the striker.

Deportivo have made a renewed effort to sign Perez and their latest offer still fall short of Arsenal’s valuation.

Perez agent is now trying to force Arsenal into accepting the bid by saying the latest offer is more than enough to get a deal done.

“The offer of Deportivo of €12m very much fits with the current market,” Lovelle told La Voz de Galicia .

“Arsenal can’t forget that of the €20m they paid, Deportivo had to give 30% to PAOK, so that only left €14m. And, previously, they had paid the Greek club €1.5m for 70%. By this I mean that with this proposal of €12m they’re giving everything they charged for Lucas.”

The Spaniard continued, “In a few days I’ll go there again to see if we can unlock this. I say the usual. Arsenal won’t concede, but There is still time.

“Arsenal were the first to show they don’t count on the player, because they removed the shirt without consulting him. As the market is, and considering that they are the first to have devalued him, I think that €12m is a very good offer.”

Perez reportedly submitted a transfer request last week to force Arsenal to drop their demands but Wenger is determined to get as much as he can from the 28 year old’s sale.

Arsenal will have to be careful when considering Deportivo’s latest offer because the wrong decision could backfire and then be stuck with an unhappy striker if we don’t get a better bid before the transfer window closes next two weeks.
