Arsenal could be handed a massive transfer blow as Alexis Sanchez has hinted he is keen to leave the Emirate Stadium this summer transfer window.

The Chile international hinted he would love to play in the Champions League which the Gunners did not qualify for having finished fifth in the Premier League table last season.

Sanchez future has been in the air with speculations linking him with a move to Manchester City after he entered into the final 12 months of his contract at The Emirates.

Arsene Wenger has revealed he has no intention to let Sanchez leave this summer but risk losing him on a free transfer next year.

Now, the 28-year-old attacker has been quoted as saying that he wants to play in the Champions League – something Arsenal cannot offer him next season.

Sanchez told Sport Radio Chile, as quoted by the Daily Star: “I want to play in the Champions League.

“I’ve made my decision, now I wait for Arsenal’s reply. The idea is to play and win the Champions League.

“I’ve dreamt about it since I was a kid.”
