Arsenal have opened talks with Chelsea about signing Petr Cech this summer.

According to reports, Petr Cech is “99 per cent” certain that he’ll join Arsenal this summer

The £120,000-a-week star has already confirmed he’ll be looking for a new challenge after losing his first team place to Thibaut Courtois this season.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has already admitted he is powerless to stand in Cech’s way, and the club are unlikely to block any deal if he wants to move to the Emirates.

Cech has been on the fringe at Chelsea this season after being dropped to the bench as a second choice goalkeeper for a more younger and vibrant Thibaut Courtois.

The 32-year-old has had to make do with League Cup appearances for the most part of this season, and is said to be unwilling to continue in that direction next season.

Understandably, there has been no shortage of interest in the goalkeeper with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and PSG all linked believed to be keen.

However, the Daily Star claim that Cech’s preferred destination is Arsenal and he’s “99 per cent” certain he’ll make the move to the Emirates this summer.

It’s understood the Czech Republic international is available for £10m with the Blues willing to do business, and a deal could be wrapped up in no time.

Cech’s agent, Viktor Kolar, has confirmed the interest and admits the Czech Republic international’s wants to leave in search of more regular games.

Kolar said: “Arsenal, United and PSG are all top clubs. And Petr would like to join one of them – definitely.”Cech’s agent, Viktor Kolar, has confirmed the interest and admits the Czech Republic international’s wants to leave in search of more regular games.
