Lucas Perez will reportedly soon make known his decision whether to stay at Arsenal or join Fenerbahce on loan.
Lucas Perez has struggled to make his mark at Arsenal since joining from Deportivo La Coruna last summer for £17million.
The winger started just nine games in all competitions last term and has been tipped to leave the Gunners this summer.
Fenerbahce are said to be keen on the 28-year-old and have been in talks with Arsenal over a potential loan deal for the Spaniard.
And Turkish outlet NTVSpor claim Perez will soon make a decision about where he will be playing his football this season.
The report says representatives from Fenerbahce were in London earlier this week to iron out a deal for the former Deportivo man.
However, Perez has reportedly not received the offer he would like and is yet to make a decision on his future.
The forward is said to have favoured a return to Spain but has not been approached by any clubs from La Liga.
But with the Russia World Cup next year, Perez could take a punt on Fenerbahce to play regular football and increase his chances of making the Spain squad.
Perez is under contract at the Emirates until June 2020 but his agent Rodrigo Fernandez admitted last month he could be on his way out.
“Anything is possible,” Fernandez said.
And Arsene Wenger was similarly noncommittal about the Spaniard’s future with Arsenal, suggesting he could let him leave for regular game time.
“I would love to keep him but we have to sit down and see if he has a realistic chance to play,” Wenger added.
