Arsenal transfer target Benjamin Pavard is reportedly keen to join the Gunners this summer.
The Stuttgart defender has been tipped to head to the Emirates in recent weeks.
Reports claimed Arsenal have enquired about the 22-year-old, who was named in France’s squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer.
And according to Calcio Insider, the defender wants to link up with Unai Emery.
They reckon Pavard is aware of Arsenal’s interest and he has told Stuttgart his dream is to play in the Premier League.
Calcio Insider add that Pavard wants to join Arsenal over joining another Bundesliga side.
The centre-back, who played every Bundesliga game for Stuttgart this season, is also being monitored by Borussia Dortmund and Napoli.
Arsenal will reportedly spend around £70m this summer, with the Gunners board refusing to splash the cash to keep up with Manchester City and Manchester United.
New Gunners boss Emery has been vocal on Arsenal’s transfer plans, with the 47-year-old revealing he plans to develop the current squad.
“I believe we can grow with the players we have,” he said.
“The objective is to work hard together and with these talented players.
“It’s very important for the club, after two years outside the Champions League, to work to be the best team in the Premier League and also in the world.”
