Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain has decided to leave Arsenal after five years, according to reports.

The winger’s contract expires at the end of next season and it was claimed that the club are going to offer him a new contract in order to keep him.

However, Arsenal are yet to show they want to keep the England international as the club is yet to make any progress of sort on his contract extension.

According to The Mirror via The Daily Star, negotiations to extend the midfielder’s stay are yet to begin and with few weeks to preseason, there is no new deal on the table.

In a related report, The Times claim the midfielder has become frustrated with Arsenal’s relic to offer him a new deal and has decided to leave the Emirates.

Chamberlain has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Arsenal’s starting xi and has been made to play in several positions, most recently at wing back. The Times claim he is now looking to secure a more consistent role at another club so he can boost his chances of making England’s 2018 squad.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all believed to be keen on Chamberlain’s services and are monitoring his situation at the Emirates.

Klopp is a big admirer of the 23 year old and the Liverpool boss is reportedly ready to smash his club’s transfer record to sign the former Southampton man.

Arsenal now have to act fast and convince Chamberlain that his long-term future is here at the Emirates or we could just see him join one of our rivals. The midfielder made 45 appearances last season and scored six goals.

Gooners, should Arsenal keep Chambo or should Wenger cash in on him and use the funds to sign a more consistent and less injury prone midfielder?
