Arsenal AGREE Deal For 1st January Signing & Set To More Than Tripple Wages.

The January transfer window has been regarded “opened” by many despite the official opening date being exactly 2 weeks from midnight today.

Arsenal will conclude agreements with highly-rated Polish youngster, Krystian Bielik, with the view of a move to the Emirates in January, according to Metro.

The 16-year old is rated as the polish Patrick Vieira in his home land and could fulfill his career in the club where the veteran Frenchman made his name, if the remaining aspects of ongoing negotiations are concluded. Reports have it that the teenager was shown around the facilities at London Colney and that a satisfaction on his parents’ part will see him move to the Emirates in January or in the next summer.

It appears the club is keen on snapping up the youngster at any cost, with his current salary of £125 to be raised to £2000, representing a 300% top up. A huge profit is also on the cards for his club, Legia Warsaw, who will receive as much as £1.2m in compensation. Bielik is reportedely due to be in London over the Christmas period for final words on the transfer, and will be in the stands to see our home game against Queens Park Rangers on Boxing Day.

There is the immediate need to bring in strong additions into the team to consolidate on the progress we’ve made over the years to make serious challenge for trophies, and the inevitable need for a defender and a defensive midfielder will still be top priority for most fans. Injuries in the squad have made it more necessary than it ever was with question marks over the long-term fitness of Laurent Koscielny and Mikel Arteta.

In the case of the captain, Wenger appears to be securing that defensive midfield position for the long-term first, before going into the market for the established Schneiderlin or Carvalho we’ve yearned for. It could well be that it could be one Pole understudying another, as Sevilla’s 24-year old Polish International, Grzergoz Krychowiak, has been linked with a January move to the Emirates.

Arsenal scouts have been rather busy in the past few weeks, scouring the world over for top emerging young guns that fit into the philosophy of the club and can be integrated into the plans of the club, in the mid and long term.
