Jack Wilshere refused to sign a new contract at Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners’ academy graduate is out of contract at the end of this season and has already made plans to leave the club next year.
Arsene Wenger said this week there were no talks on going with the England midfielder despite the club hoping to pin him down during the off season, according to the Sun.
Wilshere, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and has only appeared in the Carabao Cup this season, had interest from Fenerbahce during the transfer window.
The 25-year-old midfielder has just nine months left on his contract and talks on an extension have stalled.
The Sun on Sunday claim Arsenal bosses offered Wilshere fresh terms but he knocked back their proposal.
It is reported that Wilshere is still upset with Arsene Wenger for sending him out on loan last term, where he spent the 2016/17 campaign with Bournemouth but a broken leg brought the move to a premature end.
A source close to Wilshere told The Sun on Sunday: “Arsenal didn’t want to loan him out again unless he signed a new contract ?but he didn’t want to sign one.
“If Jack gets back into the Arsenal team on a regular basis and feels he is seriously part of the club’s plans, there is still a chance he might stay.
“However, as things stand, he is still of the view that he will be leaving at the end of the season.
“But he will be giving it his all for the club and will remain professional.”
