Arsenal’s delve in the upcoming transfer window seems to be taking a rather surprising fashion as there are reports that the Gunners are set to land Premier League’s pass-master.

According to the Daily Star, The Gunners have reportedly made a surprising transfer move for Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng.

Arsenal are in the market to bolster their midfield ahead of next season and have identified the 26-year-old as a cheaper option.

The South Korean international has been in excellent form this season at the Liberty Stadium and Arsene Wenger has been sufficiently impressed to make a move.

While Ki has been in fine form for the Swans, it is not thought that he would command as high a fee as the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

And now, Sky Sports have reported that Wenger has approached the Swans over the availability of the midfielder with talks already begun.
