Ivan Gazidis has revealed Arsenal are not in a hurry to decide Arsene Wenger’s future.

The French man’s contract expires at the end of the season and there is no news about a contract extension yet. Gazidis has now revealed a decision on Wenger’s future will be taken by the club chiefs and the French man when it is time.

The chief executive also stated that no party will be left behind in the decision making and every one will be on the same page as to whether Wenger will continue as manager beyond the current campaign.

‘He’s been clear and we’ve always been clear, that’s a mutual decision as to how long he’ll continue. Both need to be on the same page on that. Arsenal is not Arsene Wenger. They’re not one in the same thing. In a football sense, he has transformed the club.’

Wenger enjoyed a lot of success in his first nine years here but things have taken a different turn since then, with the manager having just two FA cup trophies to show in his last 11 years.

He has come under a lot of stick recently and now favors to wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his future. He did same thing when his contract was about to expire in 2014, waiting until our FA cup triumph before signing a new deal.

Reports claim Wenger has set his sights on the Premier League this season and will likely stay if we successfully win the title.

That is not to say Wenger’s future is dependent on the trophy he wins this season, his future is still unclear and has not ruled out the possibility of leaving the club to take over a national team, with England currently all over him.
