West Bromwich Albion have become the new favorites to sign Kieran Gibbs, according to reports.

The 27 year old is expected to leave Arsenal this summer and has been linked with more than a quarter of the Premier League already.

The Baggies have now emerged as the favorites to sign the defender as Tony Pulis finalize plans to strengthen his squad.

According to the Birmingham Mail via the Daily Cannon, Bookmakers have slashed Gibbs’ odds of joining West Rom drastically after receiving a flurry of bets on the move.

Arsenal are willing to sell the defender but were unable to reach an agreement with Watford over a transfer fee last month.

Southampton, Stoke City, Newcastle and now West Brom are all being linked with the defender.

None of these clubs have submitted a concrete offer but should they do, a deal won’t be difficult to strike again as Arsenal have now reduced their valuation.

Gibbs isn’t part of Arsenal’s team that traveled to China for its preseason tour as the Gunners hope to find a new club for the defender in the coming days.

He has been at Arsenal since 2006 and was tipped by many as the club’s heir to Ashley Cole but he never lived up to the hype and has apparently played his last game for the club.
