Arsenal remain in talks with Deportivo La Coruna over the transfer of Lucas Perez, according to reports.
The Spanish club have already had two bids worth £9m and £11m for the striker rejected by Arsenal but both clubs have continued negotiations with the home of reaching an agreement as soon as possible
Perez is expected to leave the Emirates this summer, with a return to Deportivo his priority and his former club are doing everything possible to make the move happen.
According to La Voz de Galicia via the Daily Cannon, Arsenal chief negotiator Dick Law have held series of negotiations with Perez’s agent Rodriguez Fernandez Lovelle about the move.
The report claims both clubs could soon come to agreement as they try to find one that would suit all parties.
Arsenal apparently want £13.4m for the striker, which is £2.4m more than Deportivo latest offer and the Spaniard’s believe they don’t have the capacity to pay more than that.
Both clubs could now try to negotiate a deal which will see Perez join Deportivo on loan for a huge loan fee with an obligation to buy the player for a certain amount.
Perez’s agent has been vocal of his client’s desire to return to Deportivo and there seems to be some optimism that his wishes could be granted soon.
