Arsenal chasing Grzegorz Krychowiak despite star reportedly rejecting Gunners transfer move in the summer.
Arsenal are considering tabling a bid for Krychowiak when the transfer window opens in January.
The Gunners are in search for a defensive midfielder after Francis Coquelin was ruled out of action for 3 months.
It is believed that Arsene Wenger is keen on bringing reinforcement in January after failing to sign a single outfield player last summer.
The Gunner’s see Krychowiak as a top candidate to replace Coquelin, the midfielder has been on the gunners radar for quite sometime but a move has failed to materialize as the player rejected a move to the EPL because of the weather, he told Sport.pl:
‘A future in England? ‘It’s too cold there.
However Arsene Wenger could still tempt the player to the Premier league as the midfielder has revealed that he has no preference for any league.
He added: “I think I have grown as a player in the Spanish league, which is one of the most demanding for a defensive midfielder like me, because we cannot only be concerned with what’s happening at the back; we have to be just as quick and agile as the players we are up against – players who are very technically gifted. If it were possible, I’d like to play against the top sides every week.”
Although it might take a lot to convince the midfielder to move to the Premier league but with the absence of Coquelin, Arsene Wenger will be better of trying to convince the midfielder to move to the Premier league.
Manchester City are also interested in the midfielder.
