Arsenal In Transfer Race To Sign One Of Europe’s Most In-form Assist Provider

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

Former Gunners flop; Oguzhan Ozyakup has upped the speculation surrounding his future by stating he would love a move to big clubs in Europe, according to reports.

Manchester United are said to be interested in the  midfielder; while his former club, Arsenal want to bring him back to the Emirates Stadium.

Ozyakup joined the Gunners from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar but failed to make it to the first team at the Emirates before he opted to join Turkish side Besiktas in 2012 for £350,000. He has scored 5 times for Besiktas this season and has assisted 5 times too in 15 appearances. He has gone on to make over 120 appearances for Besiktas.

The 23 year old has hinted that a move away from Besiktas is possible in the January transfer window but the success of Besiktas is his priority for now. Besiktas club president, Fikret Orman has identified Manchester United as one of the few clubs that the Turkish giants could allow Ozyakup to join.
