The international break is now in full swing and Arsene Wenger will no doubt be crossing his fingers back at London Colney hoping that his players return unscathed.

But he has already received his first piece of bad news, with Jack Wilshere suffering a knee injury during training ahead of England’s game in Holland.

There are also concerns about Laurent Koscielny, who limped off with a back problem last time Arsenal were in action against AC Milan.

Alexandre Lacazette has not played since the defeat against Spurs due to a knee problem that forced him to undergo an operation while Aaron Ramsey has also required surgery during the international break.

So what is the latest from the Arsenal treatment room and when could are those suffering from problems expected back?

We take a look at the latest situation.

Alexandre Lacazette

The French striker returned to training after six weeks out just before the international break.

Wenger said: “Lacazette is coming back into training. He’s on track and should be available after the break.”

Arsenal have been monitoring Lacazette’s fitness during the past week and hope he will be available to feature against Stoke on April 1.

Jack Wilshere

The midfielder had to pull out of the England squad to face Holland after suffering an injury in training.

“Jack felt some tendon in his knee,” Gareth Southgate said. “It’s something he’s felt before. It’s nothing too serious.

“Hopefully over the next couple of days that will settle down. It’s something that in the past has settled down quickly.”

Wilshere has now returned to Arsenal for treatment but it is hoped he should be able face Stoke on April 1.

Laurent Koscielny

The centre-back was forced off during Arsenal’s game against AC Milan before the international break.

At the time, Arsene Wenger said: “He got a kick on his back. We don’t think it’s bad. But he cramped up and couldn’t go on.”

Koscielny has met up with the France squad this week but will not play against Columbia on Friday night. Didier Deschamps hopes he will be able to feature against Russia on Tuesday, however.

Should he come through that match without any setback, Koscielny should be fine to be included in the squad to face Stoke (April 1) immediately after the international break.

Aaron Ramsey

Ramsey played against AC Milan before the international break but already knew he was going to go in for surgery straight after.

That forced him to miss Wales’ trip to China, but the routine groin procedure is not expected to keep the midfielder out for a long period of time.

In fact Arsenal are hopeful he could face Stoke (April 1), although the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final against CSKA Moscow (April 4) could be the more realistic option.

Santi Cazorla

The Spaniard has not played for well over a year due to an Achilles problem that has forced him to undergo 10 opertaions.

He is not expected to play again this season.
