Arsenal January Target Reveals He’s Dreaming Of Transfer To England

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

Reports linking the Gunners with a move to sign Borussia Mochengladbach star seems to be gathering pace as it is now being reported that the Gunners are prepared to pay as much as £37m for the Swiss international.

The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the midfielder for quite sometime and it is claimed that the player as well as Wenger are open to the idea of doing a deal next summer.

According to Ibtimes, the midfielder has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League in the near future.

“I have a childhood dream, and that is the Premier League. No matter if I play a second or 100 matches in England, I would one day love to fulfil that childhood dream,” Xhaka told Monchengladbach fanzine

“I read about those things [speculated moves], sure, and overhear a lot of things, but it’s only speculation. I am not interested in it.

“If there was something or the club had something [an offer] , then we’d sit down. But currently there is nothing. I am under contract until 2019, feel great here, and I am happy. That’s the state of things.”

The midfielder also revealed the number he’d like to take up should he move to the Emirates or any other club.
