Arsenal are among the clubs chasing Slovakia youngster Ondrej Duda, according to reports.
The attacking midfielder currently plies his trade at Polish side Liga Warsaw and was impressive throughout last season. He also took his impressive performances to the Euro 2016 helping Slovakia to a goalless draw against England in the group stage.
The 21 year old is highly rated in Slovakia and has been nicknamed Dudinho due to his quality.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal along with Manchester United and West Ham have been impressed with the player’s performances and are interested in signing the 21 year old playmaker this summer.
Liga Warsaw are understood to be willing to allow the midfielder move to the Premier League should their valuation be met. The player is reportedly valued around £5m which wouldn’t be a problem for any of the English clubs.
Wenger is determined to sign some of the best talents in world football as obvious in the case of 21 year old Japanese striker Takuma Asano. Hence it wouldn’t be a surprise if Wenger pushes on with his attempt to sign Duda.
Duda has scored 10 goals in 66 appearances of Legia Warsaw since joining the club in 2014. He also has 14 international caps for Slovakia and has two goals to his name with one of those goals coming against Wales in the ongoing Euro 2016 tournament.
