Arsenal new signing Granit Xhaka has hailed his move to Arsenal as a dream come true.

The Switzerland midfielder completed a move to Arsenal last week and would join his new teammates at the Emirates after the European Championships.

The midfielder has revealed he is very excited with the move and is now looking forward to next season as he begins his career as a Gunner.

Speaking to Sky Sports News as quoted by Sports Mole , he said: “I feel good, now I’m happy to be a Gunner. It’s been a big week for me but now it’s official and I’m very happy. Arsenal is a big club. I’ve seen the pitch, it’s unbelievable. It was a dream for me and I’m happy now.”

The midfielder is regarded as a complete midfielder who can be deployed in a more withdrawn role or an advanced role. He is expected to provide the much needed steel in the midfield next season. Xhaka will have to compete with Francis Coquelin, Mohammed Elneny and Aaron Ramsey for a spot in the starting xi next season.

Xhaka is Wenger’s first summer signing and the Switzerland international will wear the Gunner’s number 16 shirt next season.
