Arsenal target Henrikh Mkhitaryan has rejected a new deal from Borussia Dortmund amid reports linking him with a move to the Emirates.

The midfielder has been heavily linked with the Gunners and it is believed Wenger has already declared his interest in the midfielder. The midfielder has one year left in his contract and so far has rejected all attempts to extend his deal.

Arsenal and Juventus are said to have been alerted by the midfielder’s situation with both club’s prepared to give the midfielder an escape route.

But According to the Daily Star, Tottenham are now weighing up a move for the Armenia international and would rival Arsenal in the race to sign the Number 10. Spurs are looking to improve their squad ahead of next season and sees Mhkitaryan as a quality addition should he be available.

The player’s agent revealed yesterday that the No 10 is considering his options and could be available for sale this summer.

“Why would we sign a contract renewal now?” Raiola told German newspaper Bild.

“Micki has a contract until June 2017 and we are looking at his options for the future.”

Mkhitaryan was an important member of Thomas Tuchel’s men scoring 23 goals in all competions for the German side in the just concluded season.
