Arsenal will have to break their club transfer record for a second time this summer if they want to land Thomas Lemar from Monaco.

The Gunners have already made two additions to the team, Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasnic and report claims Thomas Lemar could be Arsenal’s third summer signing.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Gunners will have to shell out more than the fee they paid to bring Alexandre Lacazette to the club earlier this month to get Lemar.

With Arsenal boss  Wenger confident that the north London side will be able to get a deal done for the French winger.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move to bring the Monaco winger to The Emirates this summer and are said to have had two bid for the 21-year-old turned down by the Ligue 1 champions.

It is believed the French club rejected Arsenal bids for the 21-year-old because they value him in the rejoin of £80million.
