Arsenal Representative Told To Complete £62.5m As First Summer Signing

Arsenal have reportedly been told that it will take an offer of £62.5m to land 16-year-old Lyon striker Willem Geubbels.

The teenager made his senior debut for the club in September and has gone on to make four substitute appearances in all tournaments this campaign, spending a total of 76 minutes on the field.

But, a host of Europe’s top sides including Premier League trio Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs on Geubbels.

French outlet L’Equipe suggests that Lyon will demand a fee of £62.5m for the youngster this summer, though, despite his current deal endng in 2019.

La Liga giants, Bayern Munich, Monaco and RB Leipzig, are also believed to be tracking Geubbels’s development at the Ligue 1 side, although Lyon are unwilling to lose him.
