Arsenal have entered the race for 23-year-old goal-scoring machine.
Arsenal are the latest club to join in the chase for Bournemouth’s star striker Callum Wilson, with other sides such as Tottenham and Southampton also interested according to the reports.
Wilson has been an integral part of the Cherries promotion-winning season, with the striker netting 23 goals this season as well as contributing a very respectable eight assists.
The England U21 international has drawn vast attention from Premier League clubs due to his form this season, and manager Eddie Howe will no doubt be inundated with bids for his forward this summer.
Starting his career at Coventry, Wilson came into the spotlight during the 2013-14 season when he scored 21 goals in 37 League 1 games for The Sky Blues.
This form brought about a move to the south-coast with Bournemouth playing a club record fee of £3 million for the attacker.
Having proved himself in League 1 and the Championship, all eyes will be on Wilson as to whether or not he can produce in England’s highest division.
Arsenal Wenger is on the lookout for a goal poacher to add to his frontline next season and Wilson definitely fit the bill.
It is expected that offers from Arsenal for the goal scoring hitman would start flying around in the coming days.
