Besiktas have approached Arsenal over signing two of it’s first team players this summer.
Wenger is prepared to strengthen the squad this summer and it is expected that we would see some fringe players leave the Emirates before the close of the summer transfer window.
According to Turkish website Sabah via Redlondon.net, Besiktas have submitted an official bid to sign Mathieu Debuchy and David Ospina.
The report added that the Turkish giants are interested in taking Debuchy on loan while they are prepared to sign Ospina on a permanent deal.
The report also claimed no agreement has been reached between both clubs but talks are already ongoing.
Debuchy and Ospina had challenge breaking into the Gunners’ starting XI last year while the former left out on loan in January, the latter had to stay at the club to provide cover for Petr Cech.
It is believed that both players are interested in moving to clubs where they’ll be afforded regular playing time but whether they are prepared to move to Turkey remains unknown.
Ospina is currently at the Copa America with the Colombian national team and the goalie has revealed he will make a decision about his future after the competition.
