Arsenal recently watched OGC Nice attacking midfielder Vincent Koziello, according to reports.
The Gunners are monitoring the French attacking midfielder and will look to bring the player to the Emirates when the winter transfer window opens in January.
Arsene Wenger designated his club’s scout to watch the attacking midfielder against Olympique Lyon on Friday.
Nice ran out winners by hammering Lyon 3 -0 and Koziello put his name in the score sheet with a well taken goal.
Arsenal’s scout was reportedly impressed by the 20 year old performance and the scout is set to give Arsene Wenger a glowing review of the midfielder’s performance.
Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen were reportedly present at the game and saw the performance of the player.
It is unclear if Chelsea will be joining Arsenal in the race to sign the attacking midfielder but the blues officials will no doubt be impressed by the 20 year old performance.
Arsene wenger is known for scouting his native France and luring the best young talents to the Emirates.
Should Koziello move to the Emirates, he will join Samir Nasri and others as players that switched France for the Emirates under Arsene Wenger.
