Following the determination by Arsene Wenger and his team to make a mark this season at Europe and in the Premier League this season, their ambition has been tainted by a long list of first team players finding themselves at the treatment table.
It seems Arsenal wants to keep their dreams and aspiration for both European and the Premier League quest alive by knocking fervently at the door of the January transfer window, by looking at the direction of a highly rated and powerful Italian superstar in person of Alessandro Florenzi, who plies his football at AS Roma in Italy.
It is speculated that it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a niddle, than for Arsenal to convince Roma to sell their highly valued figure at the Stadio Olimpico, where the manager Rudi Garcia has utilized his talents mainly at right-back; on the right wing and also as a central midfield.
As a versatile player, Arsene Wenger needs Alessandro because he can play him as a replacement for ageing Mertersacker, who has been criticized for his lack of pace, or the unsettled Debuchy who is contemplating leaving Arsenal this January. He can also stand in for the injured Coquelin as he has proven to also be an attacking feature on various occasions.
