Arsenal are watching Charlton Athletic striker, according to the Metro.
The Gunners have sent scouts to watch the 18 year old in action for the Championship side and Arsene Wenger is keen to monitor the progress of the youngster.
Lookman joined Charlton Atletic academy in 2014 from Waterloo FC, he impressed in the u18’s and U21’s side and was rewarded with a first team debut last month.
South London Press reports that a lot of premier league clubs including Arsenal are aware of the meteoric rise of the English man and are currently monitoring the striker’s progress.
His former manager at the under 21 level has talked up his potential and says the striker is always trying to improve himself:
“He just loves playing football,” he said. “If we do certain sessions or we finish and Ademola feels he hasn’t done enough for the day – we don’t want to risk him getting injured – then he sulks.
“That’s natural for him, because he just wants to play football all the time – U18, U21 or first-team.
“He doesn’t see it being Birmingham, Ipswich or Brighton – he just sees another football match where he wants to perform.
Charlton Atletic are keen to tie the 18 year old down to a new contract, the striker has played just 2 games for the Addicks first team and is yet to open is account.
