Mario Gotze is unhappy at Bayern Munich and could join Arsenal this summer, according to a report in The Express.
The hugely talented midfielder is said to have an uneasy relationship with manager Pep Guardiola, putting Arsenal on red alert.
Last week, Bayern told Gotze that he had to make his mind up about his future quickly, but it appears this one could rumble on until deadline day.
The Bayern Munich attacking midfielder is believed to have fallen out with boss Pep Guardiola, and is actively seeking a move away from the Bundesliga outfit.
And the most likely destination for Gotze is Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger reportedly lining up a £49.6million offer to sign the German World Cup hero.
Wenger has underlined that he will only move for ‘exceptional’ players, and the 23-year-old certainly fits into that bracket.
Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the player.
