On loan midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed his plans to overcome his injury troubles.

The midfielder who joined AFC Bournemouth on a season long loan in the summer transfer window has revealed that he has devised a means to help him stay fit for the entire season.

Wilshere has struggled with injuries in recent years and fell down the pecking order at Arsenal as a result. He decided to join Bournemouth on loan in order to relaunch his career but there are concerns whether he can stay fit for the entire season.

The 24 year old has now revealed he will make alterations to his style of play to enable him stay fit

“I am trying to be smarter, maybe give the ball earlier and not over run it and in training work on certain things.

“I am working on improving certain aspects of my game. I am a player who likes to run with the ball close to my feet under my control.

“If I see a tackle coming I can pop it off and go again and avoid the tackle.

“I will always say I haven’t played enough football and it will take me a few games. I have missed the fight and the intensity of the Premier League.

“Last week against Everton was the first game I felt back to myself and had a little burst when I was on the ball to beat someone.

“I felt the team performance helps as well, the high intensity press, getting at players and win the ball back in high positions – that is my game as well.”

Arsenal are keeping a close watch on Wilshere’s spell at Bournemouth. It is believed that the midfielder’s ability to stay fit this season will determine his long term future at the Emirates and the Gunners will be keen to see how many games he can play this season.

Wilshere is a fan favorite at Arsenal and the Gooners will be hoping he stays fit this season so he can return to play an important role for Arsenal in the future.
