Arsenal vs Sunderland. 20th May 2015. Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal welcome Sunderland to the Emirates stadium tonight for their outstanding Premier league match.
The Gunners have won seven and lost none of their last 10 Premier League matches against the Black Cats. However, having lost just one of their last six games, Dick Advocaat’s men will be determined to ensure they leave with the point they need to ensure their survival.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mathieu Debuchy, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck are all sidelined for this evening’s match, while Laurent Koscielny is a doubt with the flu.
Mikel Arteta has yet to make his return to the first team despite being back in training for a few weeks now.
The form of Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla are making it difficult for the captain to get back into the side – and Jack Wilshere has put in two energetic performances from the bench since his recent return.
Having said this, here is how the boss is expected to line-up his side against Sunderland tonight.
Given the Gunner’s form and the home crowd support, it is expected that the Arsenal should cruise to a comfortable 3-1 victory tonight.
