Arsenal Striker Tells Wenger To ANGER Chelsea By Signing This Fantastic Star This January

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

Arsenal has been urged by club legend Ian Wright to consider making a move to sign Manchester United and Chelsea transfer target, John Stones in the January transfer window, according to reports. The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League log, two points clear of second place team.

Ian Wright concedes that Wenger should join the race for the Everton Defender to boost his defensive options. Arsenal continued their rich vein of form with a scrappy 1-0 win at the Emirates against struggling Newcastle in their first game of the New Year to move clear of Leicester City on top of the log.

John Stones is one of the most sort after defender in the Premier League with the Blues placing a bid in the summer which was rejected by Everton and on-going reports indicates that Chelsea would still come with an improved offer for the England international. Manchester United are another side monitoring Stones and would swoop for the defender in the summer as it is clear that Everton will not be willing to sell their prized asset in the middle of the league season.

So Ian Wright should know that it will be hard for the Gunners to sign John Stones with Manchester United and Chelsea showing interest.

Stones would find it hard to break into the Gunners starting line up; with Koscielny and Mertesacker being the preferred central defensive pairing and summer arrival; Paulista waiting in the wings for a starting place.

In Chelsea, John Terry and Gary Cahill are the preferred central defensive option while Zouma is waiting to get a start ahead of the pair when they are fit; but at Manchester United, Stones would be an instant regular with only Chris Smalling assured of a starting position at the central defence.
