Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot has agreed personal terms with Barcelona ahead of a move when his contract expires in the summer, according to the Daily Express.
The 23-year-old had benched indefinitely in response to his continuous refusal to sign a new contract with the French side.
His contract expires in the summer and he has rejected a number of attempts by the club to extend it and is now set to leave the club.
He has been linked with a number of top European clubs over the years, with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all said to be interested in him.
However recent reports now claim he will be going to Spain after reportedly agreeing terms with Barcelona.
French daily Le Parisen claim that the midfielder who is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January has decided that his future will be in the La Liga.
Rabiot who failed to make the French World Cup squad in Russia during the summer has been at odds with new manager Thomas Tuchel and has fallen out of favour with the former Dortmund coach in recent times.
He has been disappointed at the level of game time he has been getting and believes he should play as much as and earn as much as the likes of Marco Verratti at the club.
Tuchel recently revealed that he has left the squad as he’ll be benched indefinitely, while club director Henrique announced that the midfielder will be leaving on a free.
He will be seen as a long term option in a fast aging Barcelona midfield if he eventually completes a move to the Catalans.
