According to the reports, Inter Milan are looking to beat Arsenal to the signing of Arturo Vidal.
The 30-year-old Chile international is a key player at German giants, but that hasn’t stopped reports linking him with a move away.
Tuttosport claim that (via talkSPORT), Italian club will try to sign the Chilean again after failing during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have also been named as interested.
Arsenal have never been seriously linked with Vidal who, for several years now, has been well out of their reach.
Vidal made his name at Serie A giants Juventus before leaving the club for Bayern Munich.
He’s considered as one of the best midfielders in the world for several years, and some clubs would be happy to have him, even at his current age.
However, it seems here that Arsenal’s name has just been thrown in for the sake of it and not because they have a serious interest.
Arsenal could do with strengthening the midfield options but will probably be looking at younger and more attainable targets.
Arturo Vidal joined Bayern Munich in summer of 2015 from Juventus for €37m reported transfer fee. He played in 98 games so far and scored 17 goals for the club. The Chilean star won the two Bundesliga and one DFB-Pokal’s title for the German giants.
