Hoffenheim and Germany international midfielder, Karem Demirbay is reportedly now on to the radar of some of Europe’s top clubs, most notably Arsenal and Liverpool. The 24 year-old has recently enjoyed a rich vein of form that has caught the attention of many in the football universe.

Earlier this month, German tabloid Bild earlier reported that English giants Liverpool have entered the race to sign the player at the next available opportunity. Conversely, Calciomercato, Italian media giants, report that Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is heavily interested in signing the player, having tracked his progress right from his days
at Hamburg FC.

The player has in previous years played for Kaiserslautern, Fortuna Dusseldorf, and then Hamburg FC. He scored six goals and made over ten assists during last season, and he has already continued that trend this season with his eye-catching displays in midfield. So marvellous has been his impact, that even Italian league giants are said to be
monitoring his progress in a bid to sign him.

Being of Turkish descent, he has played for the Turkish Youth teams, but most recently, the German National team. It remains to be certain where he will be plying his trade next season, given the high degree of change and uncertainty now obtainable in the world of football. The 15 million euros price tag is nothing of a deterrent to cash-rich
Arsenal, Liverpool, or AC Milan; thus, signing him may turn out to be a survival of the fittest, if he eventually decides to leave Hoffenheim.
