Manchester United are planning a club-record £92million offer to land Arsenal’s top transfer target Thomas Lemar in January.

The Red Devils are keen on taking the France international to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho set to get one over on Arsene Wenger again.

The Gunners are set to make another move for the 21-year-old, after missing out on the striker on transfer deadline day with Alexis Sanchez missing out on the move to Manchester City as a result, however, this time they will face severe competition from United, according to the Mirror.

Lemar’s agents are aware of interest from Mourinho as the race for the Frenchman hots up.

The Portuguese manager was disappointed at the club’s defeat to secure an attacker in the summer, and after failing to sign Ivan Perisic, he’s switched his attentions to Lemar.

The Arsenal manager, meanwhile, is desperate to land him to replace Sanchez.

The Chilean is expected to finalize a move to Manchester City in January for a knockdown fee of £20m.

Meanwhile, Top Man United target Ivan Perisic signed a deal with Inter Milan.
