Manchester United have joined Arsenal and Tottenham in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to reports.
The BVB midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates. It was even claimed the Armenia international was house hunting in London with a view of making a switch to the capital city this summer.
His attempts to change club has been frustrated by Dortmund who are keen on keeping him and have even offered a new deal.
The midfielder rejected the club’s new deal with his agent Mino Raiola claiming the player is considering other options.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio via the Metro, Manchester United have now joined Arsenal in the race to sign the 27 year old.
The playmaker was one of the best in Europe this past season and with Mourinho keen on strengthening his Manchester United squad, he is keeping an eye on Mkhitaryan.
Tottenham and Juventus have also been linked with the midfielder who scored 18 goals and made 20 assists this season.
Dortmund have been rocked by a number of players who want to leave the club, Hummels is set to join Bayern Munich, Gundongan joining Man City and Aubameyang is also being linked with a move away.
The German side is determined to keep Mkhitaryan beyond the current campaign even if it means losing him for free next summer and Arsenal are keen to wait should we not be able to sign the midfielder this summer.
