Arsenal are set to make an offer for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura according to reports.
The Brazilian winger has been lightly linked to Arsenal for some time, but the links have gotten heavier over the course of the month and reports now have it that PSG are willing to let the 23-year-old leave Paris.
The Gunners are now said to be readying a bid in the region of £21.5m to bring the fleet footed silky attacker.
Moura joined PSG for 44.3 million pounds in 2013 after shining at the Olympics with Brazil U23 team, making him the most expensive signing in the club’s history, he has since not developed as expected, and the Paris club feels he has reached his peak at just 23 and have decided to ship him away at a loss.
Arsenal would represent a better option for him, with the way Arsene Wenger has managed to resurrect Alexis Sanchez who was almost in a similar situation at Barcelona.
Lucas is a creative and quick winger who has outstanding turn of pace and excellent skills and tricks, which would be a huge addition to Arsenal’s current attacking unit.
