FA Cup final 2015. Arsenal vs Aston Villa. May 30 2015. 5:30pm. Wembley Stadium.
Wembley hosts Arsenal and Aston Villa in the FA Cup final on Saturday, as the Gunners aim for back-to-back titles and become the competitions record winners, against a rejuvenated Villains side.
Last season’s victory in extra time over Hull City earned the Gunners their first trophy in nine seasons. Their campaign to this year’s FA Cup final has seen them win over perennial rivals Manchester United but struggle against a resolute Reading side.
Danny Welbeck is the only absentee for the Gunners as confirmed by Arsène Wenger. Whether Mathieu Debuchy, Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are match fit to make the squad for the clash remains to be seen.
Wenger heading into this match will face the headache of choosing between Walcott, who had an outstanding performance against West Brom last weekend as a lone striker and Giroud, who has failed to find the back of the net in eight games in similar position.
The boss will most likely go with his trusted duo in midfield Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin, and would face the tough decision of picking either Ramsey ahead of Wilshere or vice versa.
The defence should look similar to that which we have seen almost all through the second half of the just concluded season. While Szczesny will be handed a chance in goal as was Fabianski last year.
Having said this, here is how we expect the boss to line-up his side.
