Arsenal vs Hull City: Player Ratings, Man Of The Match & Two FLOP Of The Match

Arsenal were forced to a fifth round FA cup replay as Hull City held the Gunners to a goalless draw at the Emirates this. We take a look at how the players fared on the pitch.

David Ospina: 6

The goalkeeper didn’t have much to do. Although he looked shaky when dealing with crosses.

Callum Chambers: 6

The defender had a positive performance at right back. He did well going forward and caused Hull City problems.

Laurent Koscielny: 6

Returned to the starting xi after an injury he sustained against Leicester City last weekend and did a wonderful job. He read the game perfectly well and did his job to perfection.

Per Mertesacker: 6

The defender did a good job in defence. He was solid and reliable at the back but was a little bit shaky when asked to deal with Aluko.

Kieran Gibbs: 6

Just like every other player in the defense, he did a good job. He was solid at the back but wasn’t as productive as Calum Chambers going forward.

Mohammed Elneny: 6.5

Did a decent job going forward, his vision was superb but lacked a little bit of defensive solidity.

Mathieu Flamini : 6

The defensive midfielder was solid defensively, he shielded the back four well but was wasteful going forward.

Joel Campbell: 6.5

The winger’s dribbling was superb and also impressed everyone with his defensive ability and work rate.

Alex Iwobi: 7.5

Superb performance from the youngster. He made the right decisions, linked up well with the others around him. His performance today reminded everyone that he has a bright future at the club.

Danny Welbeck: 7

Another superb performance from the England international. He terrorized Hull City’s defense and also tested the goalkeeper with a superb curly effort.

Theo Walcott: 7

The striker was lively throughout the game, he was unlucky not to get his name on the score-sheet.


Olivier Giroud: 6.5

Created chances for his teammates and he was a threat aerially.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: 5.5

The winger couldn’t contribute any thing much to his team

Alexis Sanchez: 5.5

Brought into the game to give the team additional quality in front of goal but couldn’t create much for his teammates.
